We try to make our wine as automatic as feasible with as small intervention as plausible however at the last of the day what we want to make is the best wine, so we make our decisions based on that. Fleshy, it has ripe stone fruit and spice flavors, showing good concentration, and a finely textured. Full of personality, the generous, non vintage 5 released in 2016 is a unite of Marlborough and Central Otago base wines, fermented initially in impaired oak and stainless steel barrels. The palate delivers excellent fruit concentration and velvety texture with beautiful fruit flavors, as well as subtle savory complexity.
5 ha site that sits in the heart of Marlborough's Wairau plains with attractive views to the Richmond Ranges it’s also the home of our Cellar Door Cafe. It is finely textured and beautifully weighted on the palate, and offers elegant mouth feel and juicy acidity. Estate grown in The Corners Vineyard, at Rapaura, it was hand picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts in a French oak cave, and matured in French oak barriques 25 per cent new. Stuffed of personality, the generous, non vintage 5 released in 2016 is a blend of Marlborough and Central Otago base wines, fermented initially in used oak and stainless steel barrels. Our aim is simply to make good, genuine wine that is a spotless expression of the variety and site and encompasses the complexity, texture and balance that all good wine requires. Named behind the bend in the road that follows an used river channel, The Corners Vineyard is a 13. Expressive tropical fruit aromas and floral notes on the nose are complemented by crisp, mineral acidity while a hint of oak adds texture and structure to the palate.
