I come from a long line of buidling knowledge, infact timber and building have been a part of my family for 3 generations. In the 1940's after a period building bridges and renovationg many homes, my grandfather a builder himself established a sawmilling business in Murchison F. Anderson Limited in Waters Avenue, Blenheim and established a plant for the treatment of timber and them some years later, he developed a sawmill. I am married to Jo, who assists with a range of office duties in the business. We have 3 sons and are fortunate that one is following in the building trade and is currently enjoying an apprenticeship with another local builder.
I am a keen sportsman having been involved with rugby and rowing in my former years and more recently cycling, mostly mountain biking. We pride ourselves on a project that is run well, of the highest standard, within budget that ensures a satisfied customer. Ken Anderson and his team built our holiday home in Apple Bay, in the Marlborough Sounds. Ken took all this in his stride and built us an outstanding home and we were and remain absolutely delighted with Ken’s workmanship.
As a result of that initial contract, we have over the years established a great working relationship with Ken and he has since built commercial buildings, extended commercial buildings, re roofed etc. When it came time to build our new home there was no question as to who would build it for us, an architect designed quality build which was done with Ken's usual skill and efficiency. This is a note to thank you for the excellent work that was done on our house extension. And at the end of the day to come home to a house that had been left clean and tidy after the major work of the day was a real pleasure. Steph and I are very happy for you to invite prospective customers to approach us for our views.
